Euphoria Mark 1 - Ashok, Sunil, Ravi, Jitty and Polly.
3 months, 38 songs, the Shroff's "barsati" (terrace), afternoon lunches (yummy), screaming, shouting, fighting, hitting. Printing our own posters. Selling our own tickets for Rs. 20 a piece. Our first group of roadies (thanks U.C.M.S.)! Songs, clothes--lotsa stuff to get ready. Are the babes coming?
10th August, 1989: AIFACS Auditorium, Delhi. 1100 people! Euphoria's first "pro" gig and our first original composition - "Eat you up alive." (The band's legendary appetite for food and other good things started here :) They sat, stood, danced and screamed for 3 solid hours.
"Great! but they won't last. No sirry," they proclaimed."Too much hard rock, no popular stuff. Can't catch on can it." Now, Really?!?
A few more shows--Colleges, Carnivals, Schools...
