1993...the journey continues...
We
are ready, but no one is asking. There are now lots more competition and
bands will play for peanuts. Still no shows! Except for one...
June 12, 1993: Ravindra Rangshala. We open for Apache Indian. 22,000 people! ROCK! WE'RE BACK!
Euphoria can now cover any band, living or dead. We also have 12 original compositions in the bag.
1993 sees us playing for the prestigious Youth Quake, where we will perform the next 4 years to come. School kids! Testing waters! We swim with gusto. Thanks kids. Thanks for listening to our stuff. We are in business.
November 20, 1993: We play at the DLF Gymkhana Club. The PR manager is a "little girl" called Shalini. And boy! Is she aggressive! She could make a starving lion yell "MOMMY!" if he messes with her.
"Will you manage Euphoria?"
"Let me think."
She calls back and says yes! She is our manager for 2 years and handles everything. Now I can kick back, put up my feet and savor the sweet taste of peace... for at least 2 years... the only 2 years.
